Special Projects and Grants

The Instructional Technology Development Center (ITDC) has been developing a number of grant funded projects working with faculty from various schools at LBCC. ITDC recent projects include the following:

DARE to CARE - Disability Accommodation tRaining Environment, (in collaboration with the DSPS office at LBCC ) funded by FIPSE (Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education)

CHISPA- Caring for Hispanic Patients interactively (in collaboration with the School of Health and Science), funded by the Center for the Health Professions, UCSF, through grants from the California Endowment and the California Health Care Foundation.

A System Approach to Learning with Technology (SALT) - (in collaboration with the Learning and Academic Resources department), funded by the CCCCO Fund for Student Success and Fund for Instructional Improvement.

Success in Distance Education (S.I.D.E Road) - (in collaboration with the Learning and Academic Resources department), funded by the CCCCO Fund for Student Success.
